Cranbrook, BC, September 5, 2023 – A group led by esteemed Ktunaxa Elder Sophie Pierre, OC, OBC, has received $150,000 in funding to advance the development of a pilot project. The Reserve House Revitalization Pilot will implement and document remedies to preserve and revitalize six on-reserve homes in the Ktunaxa Homelands, including restoring at least one previously abandoned home.
