As CEO, Hennie is responsible for overseeing operations of KEL. A qualified business leader, Hennie works closely with staff to manage corporate governance, increase efficiencies across operations while seeking out opportunities to build and develop KEL’s operations and those of its associated companies. Hennie is originally from Port Elizabeth in South Africa.

Recognized among the best tax and accountancy practitioners in the region, Mirella previously worked for KPMG, the CRA as a Federal Tax Auditor, as well as numerous other senior finance positions in Chicago. Mirella is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of KEL and all group companies. Mirella was born and raised in Cranbrook.
Project and Business Administration Manager, MBA
Heather’s role is varied and her expertise is utilized across a broad range of projects including business administration, human resources and project management. Her day to day work covers supporting and advising companies within the KEL group of companies. Heather moved to Cranbrook from the coast prior to graduating high school.
Director of Business Development, Bcomm
Spencer joined the KEL team in 2021 to fill the new role of Director of Business Development. Spencer’s primary responsibilities include relationship development and management, business development planning, and marketing. Spencer is proudly Indigenous, and brings a wealth knowledge and an entrepreneurial perspective to the team. Prior to joining KEL, Spencer ran his own business for 10+ years. When Spencer is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports and enjoying the great outdoors.
Executive Assistant, BMGT
As Ktunaxa Enterprise Limited’s Executive Assistant, Dalicia provides administrative support for KEL’s collaborative and supportive team environment. She has previously worked as a marketing researcher in Budapest, and holds a private pilot license. Dalicia was born and raised in Boston, and has also lived in Prince Edward Island before moving to the Rockies.
Accounting Tech, Mgmt Diploma
Tracey has over 25 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting support. With KEL, her role covers Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable. She holds diplomas in Management, Marketing, and Accounting. Tracey is born and raised in Cranbrook.
President - Nupqu, BSc
Aaron provides support, direction and oversight to core management staff in Finance, Operations, Health and Safety, Human Resources and Business Development in his role as president of Nupqu. Before joining Nupqu, Aaron spent 12 years as a Project Manager and Geologist in the mineral exploration industry.
